Sights - Heavens Gate
This mountain pass sits 1500m above sea level, provides a crucial passage through the rugged karst landscape of Ha Giang province. The pass offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, valleys, and terraced fields, making it a natural landmark.
There are a few stories about this place - the stories differ depending on which ethic group you talk to. In Vietnamese the origin story is that the two villages, one at the top and one at the bottom would have different weather. The village up high would be said to have the weather of the heavens.
