Sapa attractions
Sapa has come a long way in the last 20 years with new things to do being added all the time. The new income to the area has also allowed for many things in the town centre to get cleaned up and fixed.
The church is still there, next to the town square and is now the oldest building in Sapa. The lake has also been cleaned up a lot and now has decorations in the middle.

The wholesome fun of scaring family members and loved ones never ages. Here you can walk out on a glass podium to see yourself 100s of metres in the air with nothing but a few sheets of glass beneath your feet. If that is not enough to raise the heart rate there are also some rope bridges with exciting drops and widely gapped steps. The attraction takes around 3 hours to see all of it. To read more about it check here.

This was the first attraction to open in Sapa. Famous for its waterfall and preserved buildings, this tourist attraction was the first in the region. Three streams named Tien Sa, Golden and Silver pour into the waterfall. Next to Cat Cat Waterfall, there is the centre house where traditional performances of song and dance are performed (less frequently in winter obviously so please ask). There are also many stalls selling handicrafts as well as a few homes preserved in the old style. Read more here.
Sapa restaurants and night life
Just about every type of cousine is available and at all price ranges. There are many local restaurants as well as those that have a Hanoi flavour. There is international options too from French, Italian, Indian, Japanese and Chinese. Most places are quite large - seating many diners. For a list of suggestions tripadvisor has the most complete and updated list.
Sapa’s recent growth means there is a lot to do in the evening as well now. There is a definite influence of Hanoi with the number of karaoke places. There are also many bars open till late with a variety of drinks available.

Bartering for goods is the order of the day and the first price is not the price you pay. Check with your guide about food and if you are compatible. Here food is 100% local.
Other attractions
